ADA 2011 Clinical Practice Guidelines
Released annually in January, this year's guidelines contain many revisions, most notably changes regarding the diagnosis of gestational diabetes.

2010 Dietary Guidelines
The USDA and HHS jointly released yesterday the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the evidenced-based nutritional guidance to promote health, reduce chronic disease, and reduce the prevalence of overweight and obesity through improved nutrition and physical activity. The guidelines include key recommendations for the general population and recommendations for special populations, including women who are pregnant, older adults, and adults at high risk for chronic disease.

NDEP Tip Sheet
